Old stories rarely disappear. They change with the people and places that carry them.
This body of work explores the space between folklore, mythology, nature, and imagination. Drawing from Celtic traditions, Southern landscapes, personal symbolism, and the strange familiarity of old stories, I create guardians, figures, creatures, and places that feel as though they might have existed just beyond sight all along.
Rather than simply illustrating existing myths, I’m interested in allowing folklore to evolve—placing the ancient beside the familiar and imagining what new stories might grow from the landscapes around me.
Where Old Roads Wander
A guardian stands at the edge of an old woodland road, staff in hand, somewhere between guide and gatekeeper. Part of Where the Wild Remembers, this piece imagines the Southern landscape as a place where forgotten paths can still hold stories—and something may still be watching over them.
Where Water Remembers
A quiet stream becomes the home of an ancient builder, working alongside the beavers beneath the forest canopy. Part of Where the Wild Remembers, this piece explores water as a keeper of memory and imagines folklore growing naturally from the creatures and landscapes already there.
Where Mountains Dream
Perched above a moonlit valley, a winged watcher overlooks the mountains as the landscape slips from daylight into something more dreamlike. Part of Where the Wild Remembers, the piece explores the threshold between familiar Southern scenery and the unseen world imagined within it.
Faelyn
A character study exploring the fae through expressive color, strong linework, and a contemporary illustrative approach. Rather than recreating a specific traditional figure, the piece treats folklore as something living—open to reinterpretation, personality, and new visual identities.

An Athens townie cryptid with an endless love of booze and a habit of appearing wherever the drinks are flowing. A playful piece of local folklore inspired by the strange, colorful spirit of Athens, Georgia.

Beneath a deep celestial sky, a fox-like guardian rests among sunflowers, foliage, and curling botanical forms. Combining animal symbolism, moonlight, and decorative natural elements, the piece explores the quiet, watchful presence that appears throughout much of my folkloric work.
